Nail Haul! Augest!

I haven't bought this much polish in a while! But there were deals EVERYWHERE!! And I just couldn't pass them by. What can I say nail polish is my guilty pleasure....sigh! Oh-well! I don't have a problem with this haha

"Neon Green," Grand Finale," "Black Out" From Kleancolor Nail Lacquer and "Cosmetic" Not Sure What brand it is-
Before I begin with the polish review, let me say I got all of these polishes for 1.00$ that's right ONE DOLLAR a piece!! I went with to a flea market near Gatlinburg and ran across two or three nail polish stands. Now I know what you're thinking used nail Polish? Not the smartest idea! Well I checked the polish has not been used plus the sellers were selling in bulk with a Kleancolor stand. So, after checking the polish over and finding out they were only a dollar I knew I had to buy some, and I was very pleased with the colors I chose.
"Neon Green," Grand Finale," "Black Out" From Kleancolor Nail Lacquer:
First off, I had never tried this brand before. When I picked up the first bottle I thought the brand sounded familiar but I wasn't sure. So, when I got home I googled the name! Turned out Kleancolor is over 3.00$ a bottle. So I defiantly got these polish for a deal!
"Neon Green," Is a BRIGHT green polish! It is fairly opaque. It takes about 2 coats to get the thickness I like. But that is how it is with most polishes! I am currently wearing this polish right now and I really like how it looks!
"Grand Finale"- is a clear nail polish, pack slam full of thin pieces of glitter. This polish is a little thick, but, not overly thick. The glitter is sliver but, depending on how the light hits it, the polish also has a blue/green tint to it. I tried using this in my current mani, however, I didn't like the way it turned out. So, I took the polish over.
"Black Out" Is a black polish that is loaded with silver glitter. The black isn’t very opaque so it takes a few coats but the finished look is amazing!! This polish reminded me of OPI “Metallic for Life” from the Nicki Minaj collection released earlier this year. To me this looks like almost an exact dupe. What do you think?

"85 Minted" Revlon
I have yet to try out this polish! But, I had been looking for a light minty green, for a few weeks. So when I saw this polish I knew I had to buy it! I think I bought it for about 4:00 at wal-mart! I will try to get a review on it as so as I use it in a manicure

"Cracked Medallion" China Glaze-Crackle Glaze
This is another polish I have yet to try or swatch. I picked it up near the end of august, for only 1.50$ at sally's. Major deal I know. I love the copper shade and I have a feeling this will look great for fall manicures!!!

Well that all for this haul. Till next time

New Hual

So I finally bought new polishes!! I was in walmart this week and found a yellow I had been looking for and a blue! The yellow was "Fierce N' Tangy" from Maybelline's new collection, it was about 1.99. The blue was "Sturdy Sapphire" from Sally Hansen and it cost around 1.50$ When I used them in my current mani. I was a little unpleased with the yellow! The polish was super thin, this wouldn't have been a problem accept the brush left streak marks. I used 3 coats and it still was a little streaky. However, the color was gorgeous, I liked the bright yellow shade and it dried with a gloss finish. "Sturdy Sapphire" from Sally Hansen was really pretty! It wasn't as opaque as I like but I think a few coats of polish will fix that. Since I used it as details in my current manicure, I didn't get a great feel for the polish. But so far I like the way the polish applied, was pleased with the brush and liked the color. I am planning on pairing it with a darker, glitter blue for a mani in the near future. Over all I liked both polishes. As I said above Maybelline's polish was a tad disappointing, but hopefully they will fix that in their next collection. XOXO's, Love and Nail Polish, Sierra

"In the Lime Light (Neon)" from China Glaze

Colors I Used:
Base Coat: "In the Lime Light (Neon)" from China Glaze, and "Shine of the Times" Essie Luxeffect
Accent Nails: Pink striper from Stripe Rite

I bought "In the Lime Light (Neon)" from Sally's, for about 4.00$ This polish is an nice vibrant bight green. I really liked the brightness of the polish. However, The polish also had a matte finish,I'm not a huge fan of matte polishes but that was easily fixed with a top coat. "In the Lime Light" was fairly opaque and the brush was great. I added a Essie Luxeffects as my top coat and some pink, just because I can't stand a plain mani haha. I loved the color and can't wait to use it again. Xoxo's Love and Nail Polish, Sierra

April Nail Hual

This month I ended up with seven new polishes!!! I think I have blogged about some of them in previews post. But I haven't had time to get my haul post wrote. However now I am finally getting around to it! You will notice that I forgot to take a separate picture for the Purple fine tip polish. It is a fine tip polish from Stripe Rite. I ended up getting it as a buy 2 get one free deal at sally's. I haven't had a chance to use the polish yet. But it is a pretty lilac color and will look for some summer manicures I have in mind.

"Sunset Sail" and "In the Lime Light (Neon)" from China Glaze:
"Sunset Sail" is a nude polish, with very little shine. The first nude polish I bought was from Pure Ice and is super shiny. So Sunset Sail is good for faces and designs using flat polishes.
"In The Lime Light (Neon)" is a bright green polish. It will be a great of some summer designs

"Portobello" from Nails Inc. This is by far one of my favorite polish, I have bought in a while. This was my first nails inc polish and I love it! "Portobello" is a bright, almost neon orange polish! I wore this polish on my toes for two to three week just because I liked it so much!! The only bad thing about this polish is that it is not very opaque. It took me about 3 coats to get the thickness I prefer. But besides that it is an amazing polish! I can't wait to try more polishes from this brand.

"Wild thing" from Pure Ice. is a VERY lime green polish. I have had this polish before. But I ran out about two months ago. So I just now got a replacement polish. This polish is pretty opaque. It only takes about two coats to get the coverage I like. It also chips very little, with one coat of top coat I can get by with wearing it for about 5 days. It also does great in nail design because it is so thick. I have used it in many designs in the past and can't wait to try some new one since I added it back to my collection.
"Big City Dazzle" from NYC is a clear, fine glitter packed polish. The glitter is two tones of purple and blue glitter. It is a super pretty polish. However, you have to paint a polish under this one. Or add several coats of "Big City Dazzle" to get good coverage
"Park Ave" is a medium tone taupe polish. I usually don't buy many polish like this one but since I didn't have a taupe color I decided this one would make a good addition to my collection.

That's all for this haul!

Nail Haul: February

Left to Right: "Traffic-Stopper Copper" from Sephora by OPI,
"Spring Street" from NYC,
"Show Stopper" a Duo pack with the gold beside it from Pure Ice
and a Hoof Foot Scrub

I honestly didn't think I had spent too much money on nail polish or bought as much as I usually do this month. However then I realized this month is only half way over and I have four new bottles and a foot scrub!! Ok so maybe I don't realize just how much nail polish I buy a month. haha

"Spring Street" from NYC
"Spring Street"-is a bright orange polish. I compared it to "Clambake" from Essie's while in the store and it was almost an exact dupe. "Spring Street" is just a little more opaque than "Clambake." I got this polish at Target for 1.20$ which compared to "Clambake" which is priced 7.50$, was a great price. I really like the vibrant color this polish has and I can't wait to use it.

"Traffic Stopper Copper" from Sephora by OPI
"Traffic Stopper Copper" is an AMAZING copper glitter polish with a clear base. It is packed with medium copper glitter hexes and smaller glitter. I got this polish when I went shopping last week. I actually wasn't planning on buying any polish while I was shopping.  But since I wasn't able to find the skirt I wanted and saw the Sephora station I instantly detoured to the polish area. I had looked at this polish around Christmas but I didn't buy it. So as I twirled the bottle around in my hand I decided since I couldn't get my skirt I was spending the 10.00$ on this polish.

Pure Ice Crackle Duo
I got both of these polishes from 5.00$ plus it came with a cute little file. The red crackle is called "Show Stopper" and is a deep vibrant red color. The gold polish sadly has no name. This polish is a dark gold color and will look amazing with the red crackle.

Hoof Food Scrub
I saw this at Wal-Mart for 97 cents, and decided to pick it up. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, just because I keep forgetting to put it in my bathroom haha. Hopefully it will work pretty well then my feet will be ready for summer.

Well that's all for this haul.

Nail Haul January

I finally got a better storage solution for all of my nails polish!!! I'll be making a post about that soon (Hopefully.) However, these four new polishes will not fit in my new bin....... It looks like I'll be going to buy another one soon!!

Left to Right: "Waterfall" "Sparkle" "Garden" from Revlon
and "Shine of the Times" from Essie

I went shopping last weekend looking for a light blue polish and I ended up coming for with 4 brand new polishes. What can I say besides it's an addiction haha. The new polishes I got are "Waterfall," "Sparkle,"  "Garden" from Revlon and "Shine of the Times" from Essie.

"Waterfall," "Sparkle" and "Garden" from Revlon
"Waterfall"- This is the polish I was originally going out to find. I needed a thick light blue for a manicure I had in mind. I ended up finding few brands with different shades of light blues. But this one came in a combo pack with two other polishes so I decided to get this one. The pack was 7.00$ for 3 mini polish. This wasn't too bad because a normal sized bottle is 5.00$ for one. The polish is a flat light blue color and is supper pretty. It took about two coats to get the thickness I prefer. But this is a polish that probably only needs one coat. Since this polish is a mini the brush is a little smaller then a usually size but it still applied the polish even. I am currently wearing this polish and I am loving this color.
"Sparkle"- is a clear base polish, filled with lots of fine sliver glitter and medium sized silver glitter dots. This color kinda reminds me of a disco ball and it is SUPER sparkly (Hints the name haha) I add this to my recent mani and it is really pretty.
"Garden"- is a pretty lime green polish. I haven't had a chance to try this polish yet. However, it looks like it will be a great green shade.

"Shine of the Times" from Essie
"Shine of the Times"- This is from Essie collection "Luxeffects" and I LOVE IT!!! I have wanted this polish for a few months but never went out and looked for it. When I ran across it at Ultra the other day I decided to pick it up. I really like the effect it gives my nails and one coat is all you need. I will definitely be using this polish is some future manicures.

Well that's all for this Haul!!

CHRISTmas Haul *Picture Heavy

Christmas 2011 went amazing!!!!  I was able to spent time with family and made some great memories. I help my siblings assemble all their toys and got to see my parents faces when they open their gifts! Over all my Christmas went great and I got so amazing polish that I can't wait to use. I am truly blessed.
As the holidays come to an end let us all keep in mind the real reason we celebrate CHRISTmas!!!

Hot Couture-Pure Ice Crackle.
"Hot Couture" is a bright pink crackle polish. This polish is very opaque, applies really smooth and shatters great. I paired this color with a lime green base coat and the color contrasted amazing.

Fuchsia Fever & Facets of Fuchsia-From Revlon.
"Fuchsia Fever" Is a bright pink polish. This polish is lighter than the polish above, but with 2-3 coat it is a very pretty pink shade.
"Facets of Fuchsia"  I had been looking EVERYWHERE for this polish and never could find it. So when I saw this polish I think I actually squealed in excitement. "Facets of Fuchsia" is a glitter packed polish full of bright purple hexes and smaller glitter. It look amazing with a black base coats and I can't wait to try it out.

Urban-Night and Cha Cha Cha-From China Glaze.
"Urban-Night" is a DEEP purple polish. It is about 3 shades darker in person than in the picture. However, it is a very pretty purple color. The polish is super opaque and very smooth. I used two coats of polish, but you could probably get away with one.
"Cha Cha Cha" This was one of the polishes on my nail polish list! So now I can happily check that off!! "Cha Cha Cha" is a light/bight/medium green polish with a sort of metallic undertone. I'm not really sure how to explain this one. But it is super pretty and I definitely see myself using it for some of my summer time manicures.

Military Green, Stunning Stilettos & Catwalk Queen-From Finger Paints.
"Military Green" is a green/gray nail polish, it isn't my favorite color. However, it will do great for some nail art I have in mind.
"Stunning Stilettos"- Is a light gray polish! I love this shade it is not too dark or too light. I can't wait to try it as a full manicure.
"Catwalk Queen-Is a yellow/orange polish. It definitely has more yellow than orange in it and the polish is a little lighter in person. I don't think this polish would look good as a full mani, but it would look good as an accent color.

I could not find the name for this polish-From Stripe Rite
This polish is a BRIGHT orange color, the picture above doesn't show off how bright this polish actually is. The brush for this polish is great and you are able to paint a lot of different nail art designs with it. The polish applies well and I really like it.

"Yellow" Nail Art Pen-from Fing'rs-
"Yellow"- Is a mini nail art pen in bright yellow color. I have used nail art pens from other brands, but never from Fing'rs. I'm curious to see how to applies. I'll tell you when I get around to trying this pen.

"Glistening Sunshine"-from Super Nail
"Glistening Sunshine" is a fine nail glitter in a bright yellow color!! This will look amazing in some spring/summer manicures I have in mind. I bought a sliver glitter from this brand a while back, so hopefully thing glitter will be just as good!!

Over all my Christmas was fabulous! I hope yours was amazing also!!

Birthday Haul and Review!!

Since I have amazing friends and they know I have a nail polish addiction. I was given some nail polish for my Birhday!! There isnt many gifts that can top loads of polish haha. I ended up getting 10 new polishes. A set of Crayola polish (yes! like the crayon Crayola), a set of stripers from Kiss and three random polish from Pure Ice.

L to R- Bubble Gum, Grape, Blueberry and Green Apple from Crayola. Yes, this is the same company that makes crayons. My friend knew I liked crayons so she found it comical that they also made nail polish. The Pink and purple polishes are a little sheer, but with 2 coats the color looks great. Also, each polish is a scented polish, and they all smell amazing!

L to R "Rock Star"Pearl Black" and "Yellow" from Kiss Nail Art Paint. So far I have used "Pearl Black" and "Yellow." I really like the smoothness of the brush because it applies well. Also, the length of the brush is good for nail art. The polish is great and applies very opaque. Plus usually when you buy these in a set a set of rhinestones or nail stencil are include.

L to R- "Once Again," "No Means No" and "First Time" from Pure Ice. I had a chance to use all three of these polish and all of them are great.
"Once Again" is a blue, glitter packed polish. It is really thin polish, so it took about four coats. But the fine, light blue glitter is amazing!
"No Mean No" is a royal purple polish and very pretty. It is very opaque so it only take one coat, two at most to get good coverage.
"First Time" is a medium green metallic polish that gives your nails a foil look. I am currently wearing it right now and really like it. I applied two coats but you  probably could go with one. The polish has a nice shine to it. However, I had some brush strokes when I applied the polish.  But it could be the brush in my polish.
All three of these polishes are great and I can't wait to use them in other mani's

Also, I got a Manicure Clean-Up Pin!!! I LOVE THIS THING!!! Any time I make a smudge or mess up on nail art. I can get this pen and it gently removes the polish without removing the base coat. The pen came with two changeable tips. So when one gets dirty I will have a new one. So far I have really liked the pen and it has worked great.

Over all the colors in my Birthday Haul were great and I can't wait to use them in my future manicures.

Nail Haul and Review: December (Satisfying My Addiction One Polish at a Time)

NEW NAIL POLISH!!! I am adding three more nail polishes to my always expanding nail polish box. Last week, I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and purchased "To-Teally Chic" from Finger paints, "Ruby Pumps" a mini from China Glaze and "Sugar Plum Yum" from Color Club.
I haven't had a chance to try "To-Teally Chic" yet, but it looks like it will be a great teal color. I found this polish in the sale box so I bought it for 1.99$

"Ruby Red Pump" From China Glaze, is a great red, glitter packed polish. Since it was a mini I paid around 1.50$ for the polish. I used it in a recent mani and it took about three coats to get the coverage I prefer. But over all I love this Polish!

"Sugar Plum Yum" From Color Club is probably my favorite. It is a glitter packed polish with green glitter, blue glitter and purple hexes. Plus it is a scented polish and smells amazing!  I was so happy when I found it at our Sally's. This is first time I had seen this brand at the store near me. I got this polish for around 5.00$. I can't wait to use in a full manicure!!

I was very pleased with the new polish I bought. I can't wait to try them all out. Hopefully I will get that posted soon. Now I just need to get more polish!!! haha

OPI HAUL and DEAL

This week, Mom and I went shopping. I already knew I was going to be looking for new polishes. However, I didn't know what I would fine along the way. When, I was at JCPenny and saw they carried OPI polish in their salon. I really like OPI polishes the only thing is I never seem to have enough money to get ALL the colors I want. But Monday, I was able to buy three OPI polish for only 7.50$. I had received a 10 dollars off 10 dollars coupon in the mail and the JCpenny salon was having a buy two get one free. AWESOME deal, I know. If you have a JCpenny near you I would definitely go check it out. I was even more excited when I found out that the salon carried the Muppet's collection!! I was a fan of the Muppet's when I was little and when I found out they had a collection coming out I knew I HAD to get a few polishes. I ended up with "Warm and Fozzy" my absolute favorite. It is a brown polish with a little hint of some duo-chrome mixed in. I also got "Getting Miss Piggy with It" this polish is packed with red glitter and it apply very easy. The last color I got wasn't from the Muppet's collection but it caught my eye and I decided to buy it. I got "Silver Shatter" from the crackle collection. I have wanted to try an OPI crackle since it came out but I just never got around to buying one. I wanted to try the black crackle but since I already had a back, white and gold from other brands, which I liked I decided to go for the silver. I can't wait for use the polish and hopefully I will be able to get them up soon.

Nail Polish Shopping + Some

Left to Right: "Lemon Fizz" China Glaze, "Gold Crackle" Salon Perfect
"Chelsea" & "Starry Silver Glitter" from NYC, "Big Spender" from Pro,
"Gray's Anatomy" and "The Gold and the Beautiful" from Wet N' Wild.
Today, I went out with my grandmother to do some very enjoyable nail polish shopping!! First we too Sally's Beauty Supplies. I got two polishes one was "Lemon Fizz" from China Glaze. This polish was on sell for a 1.99 and I do not have a light yellow, so I had to cave in and buy it. I also got "Big Spender" from Pro, this polish was a soft gold color and only around 2.50 I think. I have never used this brand before, so I am excited to see if I like it or not. While I was there I picked up two highlighting caps, for my future highlights. (I hope to get black in my hair soon.) I also picked up some Miracle Nail Fix polish. Hopefully this will help when I break my nails.
Next, we went to Walmart. I had saw some polishes there so we ran by to pick them up. However, as always I ended up getting more then I planed. I bought "Starry Silver Glitter" from NYC. This polish was 98 cents and looked like an exact dupe for a Sally Hanson polish that was also sitting on the shelf. I also bought "Chelsea" which was  NYC In a Minute color. This polish was about 1.57.  I also got "The Gold and The Beautiful" and "Gray's Anatomy" both from Wet N' Wild. "The Gold and The Beautiful" is a gold packed glitter polish and I think it will look great with some falls designs I have in mind. "Gray's Anatomy" looks like a soft duo-chrome color. This was one color I wasn't intending on getting but since I only had one duo-chrome polish I really wanted needed another one. Both of these were around 2.00$. The last color was "Crackled Gold" a crackle polish from Salon Perfect. This is a brand I have never heard about. I'm interested to see how it crackles compared to the other brand I have used.
After leaving Walmart, We went by Walgreens, and CVS. I was looking for two more polishes and the new brand 2012. Sadly I wasn't able to find any of them. But oh-well on the plus side that means I have an excuse to go nail shopping again soon.

Another Nail Haul

Left to Right: "Positive Energy" from Nicole by OPI, "Venus" and "Lunar" from Almay
"Peppermint Chrome" from Boggi Chrome Crazy Nail Paint,
"Nina" from Ulta Pro, "Instigator" and "Violet Light" from Revlon,
and "Blushalicious" from Orly

This weekend I had the chance to visit my Aunt. While I was there I decide to paint my nails and She let me use some of her Polish. Since she knew I had an obsession with nail polish so She gave me some of her polishes!! I thought she was going to give me one or two bottles. But I ended up with eight!! So far I have only had the chance to use two of the polishes above and I really like them. I hope to blog about then soon, along with the rest.

More Nail Polish :)

ANOTHER NAIL POLISH HAUL!!! Oh how I love going nail polish shopping. Getting new bottles always makes me smile. After, getting my permit (which I was extremely thrilled to have), I went by Walgreens and picked up these four colors.
Aren't they pretty!! haha
Left to right: "Night Prowl" from Wet N Wild. This polish is a dark black, with lots of fine purple glitter. In the shade the polish looks like a regular black. But when the sun hits it just right you can tell it is filled with lots of purple glitter. I think it was about 99 cents, so it was a very reasonable price. I put this color on my toes and I really like it.
Next, is "Party of Five Glitters" also from Wet N Wild. I LOVE this polish. It is filled with small glitters, medium glitters and even hexagon glitters. I can't remember the price on this one, but I think it was around a dollar.
The third polish, in the picture is "Hottie" from Sinful Colors. This color reminds me of "Last Friday Night" from the Katy Perry collection from OPI. I saw "Last Friday Night" a while back and I looked up some pics of it to see if it was similar. "Hottie" seems to be a little lighter but a very close dupe. This polish was around 1.99$ and I really like it. However, it is a pain to remove because of all the glitter.
Fourth, is "Flower Girl" from Sinful Colors. This polish is one of their fine tip polishes. I loved that the color is a nice gold, instead of being to orange or yellow gold color. The polish also applies very easy and was only around a dollar.
The last polish is "Flash" from Pure Ice. But this is not just a normal white, it is a crackle polish. I have been wanting a white crackle, but I had not had the chance to find one yet. So when I saw this little bottle on the display I knew I had to grab it. This polish was 3.99$ but totally worth it. I am still curious how the OPI, Finger Paints and Sally Hanson's crackle polish work. What are you opinions on what is the best one?
I also found out that Pure Ice and Sinful Colors have a Halloween collection out. I was kinda disappointed in the Pure Ice collection thought. Because there were no new colors besides a new Glow N the Dark and a Black Light polish. The Sinful Colors Collection was really nice. It had a lot of fall colors that will look good.
Over all I am very satisfied with my new polishes and I sure you will be seeing them again soon.

Pure Ice Polish Haul

Look at all those colors lol. These are some rather new polish I have bought. Some of them I haven't even had a chance to use. All of them came from Walmart, they have a wide selection of Pure Ice colors. So usually I get most of my Pure Ice polishes from there, plus it is really cheap like 1.99 per bottle.  Here is some close ups of the pics and also their names

Right to Left: "Unzip Me",  "Busted", "Dreamy" "Free Fall", "Risk Taker", "Heart Breaker"
and "Rescue Me"
So far I have really liked using all of the Pure Ice colors. Which polish from Pure Ice have you tried?
