Cheetah!!!

I left for a 3 day get away, shortly after I did this manicure.
So I ended up taking the picture with my phone. Sorry for the poor quality.

I loved the way this manicure turned out! If you have read my blog before you will know how I do my cheetah print. Then, all I added was some sparkles!!!!!

Base Coat: 2 coats of "Gold Dust" and "Best Friend" from Pure Ice
Cheetah Print: "903 Hot for Chocolate" and "415 Totally Toffee" from Revlon
Sparkle Nails: "Spit Fire" Pure Ice, "Set the Stage" from Sally Hansen, and
"Traffic-Stopper Copper" from Sephora by OPI

Pink N' Black

So my pink and green mani didn't last very long. After, a few days I was ready for somewhat of a change. I decided to change only my thumb and middle finger nails. To change them I painted my nails two coats of "Black Heart" from Sally Hansen. Next, I added a coat of "Mattly in Love" this gave my nails a matte finish. For the design I used my dotting tool and "Black Heart" to create a cheetah print design. This was quite a different look from my bright pink and green mani a few days ago. But I thought it was quite cute.

Colors I Used:
Thumb and Middle: "Black Heart" from Sally Hansen and "Mattly In Love" from Hard Candy
Index and Ring: "Free Fall" from Pure Ice, "Sparkle" from Revlon and "Party of Five Glitters" from Wet N' Wild
Pinky: "Love" and "Free Fall" from Pure Ice and "Black Heart" from Sally Hansen

Gold and Beaded Nails

A few days ago, on pinterest I saw the caviar polish from ciate. I love the effect it gives to your nails and I am definitely thinking about purchasing myself a bottle. However, I wanted to try out a cheaper way to see if I could get the same effect. So I went out to Michael's and found the smallest beads I could find. This took about 20min and my boyfriend and I both looking. But we found them!! When I got home I decided I wanted to do a gold and black design.

Colors I Used:
Bead Nail-"Electric" from Pure Ice
Gold Nail- "Gold Dust" from Pure Ice, "Traffic-Stopper Copper", and "The Gold and The Beautiful" from Sally Hansen






How I Did It:
For my gold nails I applied two coats of "Gold Dust" Next, I added two coats of "Traffic-Stopper Copper" a layer of the "Gold and the Beautiful" and two more layers of "Traffic-Stopper Copper" Both of these polishes had a clear base and I wanted my nails to be glitter packed so it took more polish then I expected.
For my beaded nails, I started by painting my nails black. After, the polish had dried completely. I added a thin coat of nail super glue on top of my nail. I placed my nail over a small container and began dumping the beads over my nail. Once, I had the desirable amount of beads on my nails, I pressed them into the glue. I added more as needed. Sometime the sides of my nails had no beads adhere to it, so I placed more beads. I repeated the process till my nails were completely covered in beads. The only down fall to this effect, is it chipped super easy. One of my nails had chipping after just a few hours of wear. Over all the looked turned out ok. Not as good and the Ciate brand, because the beads were not small enough. But it looked rather cool.

"Facets of Fuchsia" with Accent nail

I LOVE THIS POLISH!!!! I got "Facets of Fuchsia" for Christmas and I couldn't wait to do a manicure with it. So here it is!!!!!!!!!!!

Colors I used:


Accent Nail: "Dream On" from SinFul Colors, with one coat of "Shine of the Time" from Essie.
Other Nails: "Twilight" from Jordana, "Night Prowl" from Wet N' Wild, with two coats of "Facets of Fuchsia" from Revlon on top.

What ya think? I didn't want just a plain mani so I decided to add an accent nail. For my accent nail I used "Dream On" from Sinful Colors with a layer of "Shine of the Time" over top of it.
For my other fingers I used one coat of "Twilight" from Jordana (Black polish) and one coat of "Night Prowl" from Wet N' Wild. Then I painted two coats of "Facets of Fuchsia" over them. The reason I used "Twilight" is because "Facets of Fuchsia" has a very thin black base and having a thick black base already on my nail, made the glitter pop more. I used "Night Prowl" because it is a black polish with fine purple glitter and this polish just added more glitter to my nails. Once I got the polish on  my nails I fell in love with it even more!! It is probably on my list of top 10 favorite polishes. If you do not have this polish it is definitely a polish you NEED to find.
